Refer a patient to China, and know who is accountable at the other end.
China Medical Tour coordinates medical travel to mainland China for international patients: case review, hospital matching, appointments, interpretation, on-the-ground support and report follow-up. You keep the relationship with your patient. We handle what happens once they land.
No form to fill in first. Write to us and a person answers.
Who we work with
Most of the patients who reach us are not choosing China as a treatment destination from scratch. They are already travelling — for work, for family, for study — and want to use the trip for care that is slow or expensive at home. The organisations that reach those people first are the ones we want to work with.
- Overseas Chinese community associations and diaspora organisations
- Health consultants, patient advocates and medical facilitators
- Integrative, wellness and traditional medicine clinics
- Corporate health and employee benefits advisers
- Immigration, relocation and study-abroad consultancies
- Insurance intermediaries and financial wellness advisers
- Travel and business-services providers whose clients travel to China
If you are not on this list but your community regularly asks you about care in China, write anyway. The list describes who has come to us so far, not who is eligible.
Everything else on this page is something we say about ourselves. These three are things you can confirm without taking our word for it. A referral puts your reputation behind us, so please confirm them.

What we don't do
A partner needs to know where our responsibility stops, because the gap is where a patient gets hurt and where your reputation gets spent.
- We coordinate; we do not practise medicine. Diagnosis, treatment and prescribing decisions belong to the treating physicians. We never guarantee an outcome, and we will not tell your patient what their diagnosis is.
- We do not sell, dispense or source prescription medication. We can arrange a consultation about an existing treatment; whether a prescription is issued is the physician's decision alone.
- We do not operate emergency services, ambulances or nursing care. In an emergency in mainland China, the number is 120.
- We do not file visa applications or issue invitation letters. We explain the policy that applies; the application stays with your patient.
- We do not publish the names of the medical institutions we work with. Partners receive institution details for a specific case, under the patient's authorisation. If you need a public directory to show clients, we are not the right partner.
What you get
We are deliberately small. Every referred case is handled by a named coordinator, not a queue — which is the one thing a large platform cannot promise you.
A named coordinator per case
One person handles institution communication, scheduling, interpretation and on-the-ground logistics for the patient you send, and stays reachable to you.
Data you can quote to your clients
Our published health-screening price index covers nine Chinese cities with price ranges, the number of institutions and packages surveyed, and the date collected. It is on our site, sourced and dated, so you can send it to a client without vouching for a number yourself.
See the price indexMaterials in six languages
Our site, pre-departure guidance and report follow-up are available in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Arabic.
Case updates, to you as well as to the patient
You hear where the case stands at each step. We do not put you in a portal you have to remember to check — updates come to you by email or WhatsApp, whichever you prefer.
What we ask of you
- Be a legally registered business or organisation in your own country.
- Have genuine access to the people you refer. We do not buy or accept purchased lists.
- Never collect payment or a deposit from a patient on our behalf. Patients pay us or the medical institution directly, never through you.
- Tell a patient you are a referring partner if they ask. They should never be surprised by the relationship.
- Refer only what fits. Do not promise an outcome, a diagnosis or a timeline on our behalf — we do not promise those either.
How to start
There is no application portal and no orientation programme to sit through. It starts as a conversation.
Write to us
Tell us who you are, where you are registered, the community or clients you work with, and the kind of care they ask about.
We talk
A call or a written exchange, whichever suits you. You ask what you need to ask; we do the same.
We agree terms in writing
Commercial terms are set case by case and depend on what each side actually does. We will not quote a rate on a public page and then renegotiate it with you privately.
You send the first case
We handle it, you watch how we handle it, and you decide whether there is a second.
Starting small is fine. One case is a reasonable test, and it is the test we would run if we were you.
The same service, whoever sends the patient
A patient referred by a partner receives the same coordination, the same fee structure and the same protections as a patient who finds us directly. Partners do not influence clinical decisions, which institution is appropriate, or what a patient pays.
Both reach the same people. Write in English or French; we read both.
