PriumCare is an independent medical coordination layer for international travellers, expatriates, and cross-border patients who need access to China's certified public Grade A tertiary (San Jia) hospital network.
It is not a marketplace. We do not host competing vendors and we do not mark up hospital fees. You pay official medical charges directly to the public hospital at government-regulated counter rates. You pay PriumCare a coordination fee agreed in advance for running the operational workflow.
Hospital availability, specialist suitability, clinical decisions, test timing, and report timing vary by city, department, and patient condition. We do not guarantee medical outcomes.
Why public hospitals need a coordination layer
China's public San Jia hospitals run capable clinical infrastructure: diagnostic suites, rapid laboratories, and clinicians with high procedural volume. That infrastructure sits on a domestic stack โ municipal identity databases, domestic mobile payment networks, and Mandarin-first interfaces. To an international visitor, the public system is easy to misread even when the medicine itself is straightforward.
PriumCare's job is to translate a clinical intention into a public-hospital workflow:
| Layer | Role |
|---|---|
| You | Overseas records, your own language, no requirement to operate local hospital apps |
| PriumCare | Match the question to a subspecialty, book authorised capacity under your passport, sequence the on-site route, compile official records |
| Public San Jia hospital | Clinical care, regulated public fees, signed hospital reports |
The split of money matches the split of work. Medical fees go to the hospital cashier. The coordination fee is separate and never bundled into hospital billing. Published pre-consultation scopes are CNY ยฅ700, ยฅ1,400, and ยฅ2,800.
Four service tracks
Needs are not all the same. PriumCare groups cross-border work into four modular tracks.
Track 1: Authentic TCM and musculoskeletal recovery
For visitors who want genuine Traditional Chinese Medicine inside an accredited public clinical department, not a commercial spa.
- Medical tuina. Targeted therapeutic musculoskeletal work performed by certified TCM doctors.
- Four diagnostic methods. Observation, auscultation/olfaction, inquiry, and pulse diagnosis (ๆใ้ปใ้ฎใๅ), leading to an individualised herbal prescription and recovery plan where the physician judges it appropriate.

Track 2: Public-hospital screening during travel
Health checkups in China can be clinically dense and reasonably priced, but the booking systems are not designed for a foreign visitor. The coordination job is to remove that overhead.
- Tell us the focus โ cardiovascular, low-dose cancer imaging, GI endoscopy, or a general age-matched panel โ rather than decoding departmental codes.
- Every scan, blood draw, and diagnostic check in this track is performed inside an accredited public San Jia hospital. Reports carry official hospital authentication.
- You arrive at the assigned time, complete the exams in the hospital's clinical suites, and leave with authenticated results.
Where hospital capacity allows, screening can often be arranged during the same travel week, including after you have already landed. Complex histories, anaesthesia, or multidisciplinary review need more lead time. Details: health checkup during a China trip and city starting prices.
Track 3: Specific concerns, second opinions, and reconstructive care
For a defined medical question โ filler-injection complications, fibrous-cord removal, sports injury, or a symptom that has not been resolved at home.
- Proxy consultation (ไปฃ้ฎ่ฏ). We translate your existing documentation into the hospital's working format, present the case in person to a senior Chief Doctor, and return a feasibility assessment before you commit to travel. This is the CNY ยฅ2,800 pre-consultation scope: patient-approved questions relayed through normal hospital channels, with an organised response package. It is not a diagnosis by PriumCare.
- Needs-based scale (ไธฐไฟญ็ฑไบบ). You can stop at the remote assessment, or continue to admission, a procedure, and post-operative monitoring in China if you and the treating physicians decide that is the next step.
Track 4: Frontier advanced therapeutics
China is an active clinical-research environment for cellular medicine. Where a patient is eligible, we can navigate access to accredited programmes offering approved CAR-T immunotherapies for haematologic malignancies and regulated cellular protocols (for example, approved mesenchymal stem-cell therapies for specific degenerative indications).
Eligibility, protocol, and whether a programme will accept an international patient are decided by the treating institution. We do not market unregulated cell therapy.
Clinical scope and a hard boundary
Transparency is part of the product.
- We connect eligible international patients to lawful, accredited pathways, including regulated CAR-T and approved cellular protocols where those exist.
- Organ transplantation is outside our scope. Under Chinese law and international medical ethics, including the Declaration of Istanbul, deceased-donor organs are reserved for patients registered on domestic allocation lists. We do not coordinate transplant tourism.
Every pathway we coordinate has to be lawful, medically sound, and ethically compliant. If it is not, we say no.
How the workflow runs
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Intake | You submit goals and existing records โ a screening during travel, a TCM pulse assessment, or a proxy evaluation of an unresolved symptom. |
| 2. Orchestration | PriumCare matches the clinical profile to a specialty department and books authorised public-hospital capacity under your verified passport identity. |
| 3. Care delivery | You receive an operational briefing: arrival time, building, clinic counter, and preparation rules. Consultations, blood draws, and scans happen inside the hospital. |
| 4. Records | You receive official public-hospital reports. Translation into your language, and uncompressed DICOM files for your doctor at home, are provided when that support is confirmed in the selected service scope. |
Languages we can support when confirmed include English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Russian, and Japanese. Site content is published in English, Spanish, German, French, Arabic, and Russian.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a health checkup after I have already arrived in China?
Yes. Regional San Jia hospitals often have enough throughput that a hospital-grade screening can be arranged during the same travel week, including after landing in Beijing, Shanghai, or another major city. That is capacity-dependent. We cannot promise every request will be placed immediately. Healthcare for foreigners already in China covers the in-country path.
How do I verify that diagnostic reports are authentic?
Tests in this service are conducted inside accredited public San Jia hospitals. Reports carry official institutional tracking codes and laboratory verification. Raw DICOM imaging can be read on standard PACS software worldwide.
What is a proxy consultation, and how does it work?
A proxy consultation lets our team take your existing overseas history, present it to a senior Chief Doctor at a Chinese tertiary centre, and obtain an official medical opinion on diagnostic work-up or surgical feasibility before you book international travel. See pre-consultation fees and scope.
Does PriumCare charge extra for translating medical records?
Translation of official hospital reports is included when that support is confirmed in the selected service scope. Raw uncompressed DICOM datasets are provided on request when the hospital releases them.
Who do I pay for the actual medical treatments and tests?
You pay official medical fees โ consults, imaging, laboratory tests, medications โ directly to the public hospital cashier or self-service kiosks at regulated public rates. You pay PriumCare only the agreed coordination fee. How to pay explains Alipay and WeChat Pay setup.
